Quality Operations Manager

About the role

The Quality Operations Manager will lead the Site Quality Team within Air Liquide Advanced Materials, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with internal and customer quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Quality organization, overseeing day‑to‑day supervision and strategic initiatives.
• Drive site‑specific quality goals aligned with global KPIs and manage customer complaint investigations.
• Implement and monitor internal processes, documentation, and ISO/QMS audits.
• Promote data‑driven quality culture using tools such as SPC, FMEA, MSA, and quality control plans.
• Coordinate with third‑party subcontractors for metrology and analytical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred) or 10+ years equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in a regulated manufacturing environment (semiconductor, automotive, etc.) and at least 5 years in a quality leadership role.
• Strong English and Korean communication skills.

Required skills

• Quality management fundamentals: SPC, FMEA, MSA, statistical analysis.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, cause‑and‑effect investigations.
• Proficiency in SAP, LIMS, and SPC software (JMP or Minitab).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; ISO auditor certifications (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).
