About the role

Manager, DDP Customer Engineer at Applied Materials in Icheon‑Gwango, South Korea. The role leads customer engineers across the district, builds and maintains customer relationships, and drives financial and operational performance for semiconductor equipment services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant customers in the district, conducting regular visits.
• Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers, handling salary and career planning, performance appraisals, and corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary interface with Product Divisions for technical support, training, spares, and reliability.
• Oversee account planning with the District Sales Engineer and provide support plans for system sales.
• Responsible for financial forecasting, cost efficiency, and measuring district financial results.
• Plan and execute system installations, including pre‑facility and start‑up meetings, and manage RMA procedures.
