About the role
The Making Links Asia University Programme is a paid work‑experience opportunity for first‑year law students from under‑represented backgrounds. It aims to develop technical, professional and commercial skills while providing a global outlook within Linklaters' Seoul office.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in interactive webinars and online learning sessions (January‑June) organised regionally.
- Attend one‑on‑one coaching sessions with senior lawyers.
- Complete a paid work‑experience placement in the Seoul office.
- Receive a two‑week salary sponsorship at the start of the placement.
- Join local office activities throughout the programme.
Required profile
- First‑year law student with an under‑represented background.
- Committed to a career in commercial law and consistent academic performance.
- Business‑level English; native‑level Korean is welcomed.
Required skills
- Strong written and oral English proficiency in a professional setting.
- Native‑level Korean language ability.
