Lead Security Engineering & Compliance

About the role

As the first security member at MarqVision, you will lead the design, implementation and operation of the company’s global security program. You will own security governance, cloud security, security operations and customer‑facing security engagements, driving automation and AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and operate security governance and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and manage related audits.
• Design, implement and maintain AWS cloud security architecture, including IAM, network security, WAF, encryption, logging and monitoring.
• Run security operations, operate EDR solutions, detect and respond to incidents, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Lead security communications with global B2B customers, handle security questionnaires and address their security requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Hands‑on experience securing AWS environments.
• Proven track record operating security compliance programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001.
• Experience with GDPR or other personal data protection regulations.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and communicate fluently in English.
