Korea Lab Facilities Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, Gas & Chemical)

About the role

The Korea Lab Facilities Engineer will act as a subject‑matter expert for electrical, mechanical, gas and chemical systems supporting semiconductor processing labs. You will work within the Global Workplace and Infrastructure (GWI) team to design, build, operate and maintain critical lab infrastructure 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and maintain electrical, mechanical, gas and chemical infrastructure, including power, CDA/OFA, PCW, pumps, scrubbers and safety systems.
• Support the GWI Head of Korea in planning roadmaps, budgeting, capacity planning and execution of retrofit, EOL and engineering projects.
• Ensure 100% uptime of lab facilities, manage spares inventory, troubleshoot issues and drive reliability improvements.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and company policies, and prepare annual forecasts and budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Gas or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in facilities operations for semiconductor fab or AT sites, with at least 5 years in a large corporation.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to influence senior leaders.

Required skills

• Engineer Air‑Conditioning Refrigerating Machinery certification (required).
• Knowledge of CFM, IFMA, PE or related certifications (preferred).
• Understanding of OSHA, NIOSH, NBC, fire codes, MSDS, MOC.
• Troubleshooting expertise with FAPA, LSS, GLSS.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and CMMS platforms.
