Indirect Procurement & Direct Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Indirect Procurement & Direct Procurement Specialist will optimise indirect procurement activities and drive operational purchasing processes to ensure seamless business continuity. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role involves end‑to‑end sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation and cost‑reduction initiatives, with the opportunity to expand into direct material purchasing and master data governance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end sourcing for indirect materials and services (MRO, IT, office supplies, facility services) including RFx processes and contract negotiations.
• Perform spend analysis, identify cost‑saving opportunities and track supplier performance against KPIs.
• Manage the purchase‑to‑pay process for both indirect and direct materials, coordinating with finance and logistics teams.
• Support supplier onboarding, master data maintenance in Oracle and monitor delivery timelines for urgent items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5‑8 years of hands‑on experience in indirect procurement and operational purchasing.
• Proven ability to lead sourcing projects, negotiate contracts and drive continuous workflow improvements.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
