FI Engineer - Extruder (Production Process Engineer)

About the role

Mars is hiring a Production Process Engineer (FI Engineer) for its Royal Canin site. The role covers designing, developing and implementing new or revised production processes so that goods can be mass-produced efficiently and economically.

Key responsibilities

• Design the layout of manufacturing equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive arrangement.
• Design the sequence of production operations, specify procedures for making the necessary tools and equipment, and adapt machinery to factory conditions.
• Run tests throughout production to control variables and troubleshoot and solve production problems.
• Advise product design engineering on technical specifications that best use equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure production processes and procedures comply with regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply or a technical field.
• Ideally around 2 years of experience in food production.
• Knowledge of the LEAN production system.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and practice situational leadership.
