Strategic Account Executive

About the role

The Strategic Account Executive supports sales, development and growth of major key accounts (national optical retail chains). Reporting to the KAM Team Leader, the role plans annually, manages small‑ and medium‑size accounts independently and assists with strategic accounts and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build the annual business plan for assigned key accounts and share risks and opportunities with the KAM Team Leader.
• Forecast and achieve account results such as sell‑in, sell‑through, market share and profitability.
• Develop and execute channel promotions, track store‑level execution, sell‑out and ROI.
• Lead negotiations with small and medium key accounts, escalating to the KAM Team Leader when needed.
• Manage commercial risks including inventory, receivables, pricing and contracts, and monitor related invoices.
• Maintain customer profiles, stakeholder networks and conduct periodic business reviews.
• Analyze sell‑in/sell‑out and market data, prepare business reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure a consistent company voice.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of sales experience or three years of key account management, preferably in optical, medical device, healthcare or consumer goods.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of performance and results, with experience managing national retail chain accounts highly desirable.
