Site Contract Manager – Clinical Trials

About the role

The Site Contract Manager will lead the preparation, negotiation and finalisation of clinical trial agreements and related budgets for both company‑sponsored and investigator‑initiated studies. This role supports the clinical team in managing site/investigator contracts, ensuring compliance and efficient trial initiation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate and finalise clinical trial agreements and ancillary documents directly with sites or via a CRO.
• Develop and align site/investigator budgets with fair market value and oversee the contract amendment lifecycle.
• Track legal documents, metrics and site payments, ensuring compliance with QA and audit requests.
• Identify process improvements to reduce cycle time, create savings and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with global CCS, legal, risk management and other internal partners to resolve contractual issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business discipline.
• At least three years of experience in the pharmaceutical/clinical research industry, including two years of contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of clinical development processes and healthcare compliance (HIPAA, FCPA, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams, with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Database management experience.
• Demonstrated AI literacy and ability to apply AI tools responsibly in daily work.
