Senior Staff Technical Program Manager – Digital Trust

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead high‑impact security initiatives, shape strategy, and coordinate cross‑functional teams within Coupang’s Security Organization. The role focuses on digital trust, privacy, and data governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical security projects and programs, defining milestones, success criteria, and resource allocation to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Define and lead strategy, tactical planning, and execution of multiple technical programs across the Security Organization.
• Collaborate with product and domain owners to devise solutions for security, privacy, and compliance challenges.
• Act as a bridge between security, engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to strengthen overall security posture.
• Standardize and optimize project reporting and enhance capabilities to protect Coupang, its customers, and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in technical program, project or product management and/or software engineering.
• Proven ability to move large‑scale technical programs from inception to delivery with clear metrics and reporting.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to security concepts, agile development, DevOps CI/CD, and secure development lifecycle practices.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or cloud certifications.
• Experience with audit and compliance programs (PCI‑DSS, ISO) and emerging topics like AI for security.
