Senior Manager, Client Liaison

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Manager to act as the central liaison between Invesco Asset Management (Japan) Limited and local fund distributors, placement agents, and institutional investors in Korea. The role combines client relationship management, product distribution, and market insight to support the growth of Invesco’s investment solutions in the Korean market.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Korean placement agents (PAs) and institutional investors, ensuring timely delivery of product information, reports, and reviews.
• Coordinate with Sales, Consultant Relations, and Product Management to service client needs and promote Invesco investment strategies.
• Oversee onboarding of new business, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Operations on agreements and guidelines.
• Conduct market research on Korean institutional investors, pensions, and asset managers to identify opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
• Support marketing and sales initiatives, including events, creation of sales materials, and engagement of potential new PAs.
• Assist in negotiating and executing distribution agreements between IAMJ and local partners.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in institutional sales or relationship management within asset management or investment services.
• Deep understanding of the Korean institutional investment landscape.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, product, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Korean.
• Track record of successfully onboarding and servicing institutional clients.
