Researcher – Organometallic & Silicon Chemistry for ALD/CVD

About the role

Air Liquide Laboratories Korea is seeking a researcher to develop novel organometallic and silicon‑based precursors for ALD/CVD thin‑film processing, supporting both internal projects and external collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, synthesize, purify and analyze new organometallic or silicon‑based compounds for metal oxides and nitrides groups.
• Perform analytical characterization using NMR, TGA, DSC, mass spectrometry and related techniques.
• Prepare timely R&D reports, patent applications and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead work‑package tasks, mentor junior scientists and interns, and coordinate safety activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in chemistry or related field with 3‑5 years of relevant experience (Ph.D or post‑doc preferred).
• Business‑proficient English; conversational Korean is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously in a multicultural laboratory environment.

Required skills

• Synthesis and purification of organometallic and silicon‑based compounds.
• Analytical techniques: NMR, TGA, DSC, mass spectrometry.
• Experience handling pyrophoric, toxic or combustible materials.
• Familiarity with ALD/CVD processes and precursor development.
