Product Designer (UI/UX) - Remote

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Product Designer to shape intuitive, high-quality product experiences across its financial products. The role suits someone who solves product problems through thoughtful interface design, working closely with product managers and engineers to turn complex financial workflows into experiences that feel fast, intuitive and trustworthy. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in South Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end product experiences from concept to production.
• Turn product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished interfaces.
• Build intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments and other financial products.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Collaborate with engineers so designs are implemented accurately.
• Improve usability through rapid iteration using product data and user feedback.
• Maintain consistency across mobile and web, and continuously refine interactions, accessibility and product quality.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products.
• Strong portfolio showing product thinking and excellent visual design; a portfolio is required.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences.
• Works collaboratively with engineers and product teams, takes ownership from idea to launch, and uses real user insights to improve products.
• Strong English communication is required.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and interactive prototyping.
• Understanding of design systems, component libraries and responsive design.
• Understanding of information architecture and user flows.
• Excellent visual design skills: typography, spacing, layout and interaction design.
