Process Support Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (PSE) will guide semiconductor equipment through its full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site customer support, system diagnostics, and complex equipment repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and repair of advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Collaborate with customers and R&D to develop cutting‑edge processes for chip manufacturing.
• Create hypothesis experiments, design of experiments (DOE), analyze data statistically, and compile technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root‑cause analyses, and resolve challenging process and product problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a semiconductor fab or equipment environment.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes.
• Experience with Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant technologies.
• Ability to design and execute DOE and perform statistical data analysis.
• Strong root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving capabilities.
