Principal Value Engineer

About the role

As a Principal Value Engineer you will spearhead data‑driven business transformation for Celonis customers, partnering with sales and services to deliver measurable impact across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify & frame value: discover customer strategic goals, translate them into high‑impact use cases, build business cases and run Proof‑of‑Value pilots.
• Realize value: lead workshops, analyse data with the Celonis platform, define improvement measures and present concrete results to senior management.
• Scale value: own the full customer journey from landing to expansion, create long‑term roadmaps and feed product feedback to development teams.

Required profile

• Proven consultative sales experience, including discovery, qualification, business case creation and PoV execution.
• Strong background in SaaS or complex IT solutions with the ability to discuss technical details with IT teams.
• Post‑sales experience in customer success or implementation, driving adoption, training and renewals.
• Project‑management capability to run multiple IT‑related projects simultaneously.
• Executive stakeholder management – preparing and presenting results to C‑level leaders.
• Domain expertise in finance or supply‑chain processes and industry knowledge in manufacturing, banking or retail.

• Python programming.
• AI/ML‑based data analysis and value discovery.
• Dashboard creation and simple application development.
• Automated workflow design.
