Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (Dermatology) will build scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, understand unmet medical needs, and act as a field‑based communication channel for Medical Affairs within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key individuals (KIs) to identify scientific needs and provide clinical support on established and pipeline products.
• Conduct balanced scientific communications, respond to unsolicited requests, and ensure compliance with local regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Plan and execute external medical activities such as congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings, and report insights to internal partners.
• Serve as a research liaison, managing investigator‑initiated studies and supporting clinical trial activities.
• Collect and share medical insights with cross‑functional teams to support strategy development and training.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field (PhD, MD, PharmD preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Understanding of local regulatory policies, drug registration, promotion, and clinical study standards.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using iMedical CRM for tracking and evaluating KOL interactions.
