Mechanical Engineer – ADAS HPC Systems & Liquid Cooling (Orin/Thor)

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the mechanical architecture and liquid cooling design of high‑power Orin/Thor‑based ADAS HPC systems in automotive environments. This role covers end‑to‑end mechanical ownership from requirement engineering to validation and production readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical requirement engineering and negotiate specifications with OEM customers.
• Own the customer interface for all mechanical engineering topics.
• Define and develop HPC mechanical architecture, including vehicle integration and thermal concepts.
• Design and validate liquid cooling solutions for high heat‑dissipation systems.
• Manage mechanical and thermal simulations (shock, vibration, thermal performance).
• Coordinate technical activities with internal cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Support prototype build, testing, and industrialization readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in requirement engineering, test planning, and validation processes.
• Hands‑on experience with automotive ECU mechanical design.
• Proven expertise in liquid cooling and thermal management (cold plate, flow distribution, sealing concepts).
• Experience with high‑power HPC systems is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with automotive standards (vibration, IP rating, environmental validation) is preferred.
