Full Stack Engineer, AI Systems

About the role

ActAI builds proactive applications for people who are not used to complex prompting, starting with an agent-first mobile communication app. It is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build the product layer that turns AI capabilities into usable, production-grade workflows, including how agents operate, fail and recover.

Key responsibilities

• Build end-to-end product features across frontend, backend and AI integrations
• Design agent workflows covering planning, tool use, failure and recovery across multiple steps
• Integrate LLMs, memory and external tools into reliable systems
• Design real-time AI interactions with streaming, partial results and tight latency constraints
• Improve system reliability, observability and fallback mechanisms
• Work closely with ML, backend and product teams to ship features end-to-end
• Iterate continuously based on real usage and failure modes

Required profile

• Strong experience in full-stack engineering (frontend and backend)
• Solid understanding of system design and API architecture
• Experience with LLMs, RAG systems or AI-powered applications
• Able to handle ambiguity and make pragmatic engineering decisions
• Strong ownership, taking features from idea to production
• Comfortable in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements
