ETCH Process Support Engineer

About the role

The ETCH Process Support Engineer will guide semiconductor products through their full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site customer support, system diagnostics, and complex equipment repair. You will collaborate closely with customers and R&D teams to develop cutting‑edge processes for advanced chip manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑visibility on‑site support for installations, system diagnoses, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers to develop leading‑edge processes for advanced chips, creating hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE).
• Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and compile reports with high‑level conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root‑cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and product issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers to build trust and achieve goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Plasma Reactive Ion Etch (RIE), Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Anneal and Implant processes.
• Experience with hypothesis testing, design of experiments (DOE) and statistical data analysis.
• Strong root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
