DDP Process Support Engineer – Semiconductor

About the role

The DDP Process Support Engineer will guide semiconductor equipment through its full lifecycle, from concept to qualification. You will provide high‑visibility on‑site customer support, perform system diagnoses, and service complex deposition tools. The role involves close collaboration with customers and R&D teams to develop cutting‑edge processes for advanced chips.

Key responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, service, and repair complex dielectric deposition systems on customer sites.
• Partner with customers to develop and optimize leading‑edge semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Create hypothesis experiments, design of experiments (DOE), and analyze data using statistical methods.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and resolve challenging process engineering and product issues.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers to build trust and achieve goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in a related discipline.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes.
• Experience with Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, anneal, and implant technologies.
• Ability to design and execute DOE and perform statistical data analysis.
