Business Finance Specialist

About the role

Miele is hiring a Business Finance Specialist in Seoul. The role acts as a key business finance partner, analysing sales, gross margin and P&L performance and providing actionable insights to management, while working closely with cross-functional teams and the MD and leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, gross margin, P&L performance and key business performance indicators, and give management actionable insights
• Lead and support planning cycles (budget, forecast, rolling forecasts) and monitor performance against plan, identifying risks and opportunities
• Prepare monthly business performance reports by consolidating inputs from Sales, Marketing and Service teams
• Support the MD and leadership team in identifying growth opportunities and evaluating strategic initiatives from financial and commercial perspectives
• Work closely with the Head of Finance (direct reporting line) and support ad-hoc business and strategic requests from the MD
• Manage and track key KPIs, ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders
• Oversee financial data integrity in ERP (MS Business Central) and reporting systems, and monitor P&L, balance sheet and cash flow indicators
• Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis, and drive improvements in reporting, data quality and controlling practices
• Support and lead HQ/APAC-driven initiatives and global projects
