Business Development Specialist – Myopia Management

About the role

This position will train ophthalmologists on parent consultation, patient fitting and post‑dispense support to drive CooperVision’s success in myopia management. You will build and nurture a prescribing network for the MiSight lens, collect real‑world data, and represent the company at ophthalmology meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Train ophthalmologists on parent consultation, patient fitting and post‑dispense support.
• Develop and expand an ophthalmologist prescribing network for MiSight adoption.
• Lead professional service activities, including real‑world data collection, clinical paper development, and guideline creation.
• Collaborate with local marketing to create a Myopia Management toolkit and PR campaigns.
• Act as the primary contact for customers implementing myopia management systems.
• Gather competitive intelligence and share best practices with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ophthalmology, medical devices, or related fields.
• Proven experience in professional services, KOL engagement and training.
• Strong understanding of myopia management, market dynamics and competitive landscape.
• Bachelor’s degree; background in medical engineering or life sciences is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
