Account Executive - Express Delivery Sales

About the role

UPS is hiring an Account Executive in Seoul to grow its express delivery business in a defined territory. The core mission is to drive profitable territory growth through hunting, conversion, penetration and retention. The position is permanent and full-time, with a 40-hour week Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Territory and account management: manage existing customer accounts, develop new accounts in express delivery, grow the assigned customer segment, retain revenue and relationships.
• New business development: identify and qualify opportunities, conduct sales calls and face-to-face visits, convert prospects into new UPS customers and generate volume and revenue.
• Account penetration: find additional opportunities in existing accounts, introduce relevant UPS products and services and increase customer penetration.
• Customer management: understand customers' supply chain and business needs, build relationships with key stakeholders and resolve issues.
• Sales execution: meet or exceed sales targets, prepare customised presentations, manage pricing requests and quotations, track sales performance and do pre-call research.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in international express, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts, able to explain UPS's value proposition to customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical mindset, able to analyse sales data and make data-driven decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• CRM software such as Salesforce for sales tracking and reporting.
