Process Support Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (PSE) will guide semiconductor products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site customer support, system diagnostics, and equipment service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑visibility customer support through on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with customers to develop leading‑edge processes for manufacturing advanced semiconductor chips.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data statistically, and compile high‑level reports.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root‑cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and product issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a semiconductor fab or equipment environment.
• Strong communication proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant technologies.
• Statistical data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology.
