Manager, DDP Customer Engineer

About the role

The Manager, DDP Customer Engineer leads the district’s customer engineering team, fostering strong relationships with customers and ensuring successful system installations and support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships across all levels and conduct regular visits.
• Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers, including salary and career planning.
• Serve as the primary interface with product divisions for tech support, training, spares, and reliability.
• Oversee account planning with District Sales Engineer and provide financial forecasts.
• Plan and execute system installations, pre‑facility and start‑up meetings, and manage RMA procedures.

Required profile

• Experience leading engineering teams and handling customer relationships.
• Ability to manage financial results, cost efficiency, and performance appraisals.
• Strong understanding of escalation procedures and mentorship programs.

Required skills

• Leadership and coaching of technical staff.
• Project planning and execution for system installations.
• Financial forecasting and cost management.
