Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

As a Commercial Finance Manager within BAT’s commercial team in Seoul, you will act as a trusted business partner, delivering proactive commercial and financial insights that support strategic decision‑making. You will collaborate closely with business unit managers, finance shared services and external partners to ensure sound financial control and effective resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an effective information management and control environment.
• Provide commercial and financial insights through EMF processes to drive business results.
• Integrate financial considerations into marketing decisions and vice‑versa.
• Deliver rigorous analysis for optimal resource allocation, portfolio alignment and brand equity building.
• Allocate resources according to business priorities and availability.
• Lead cross‑functional interfaces with key stakeholders across the organisation.
• Introduce innovative ways of working, including new analysis frameworks, automation of manual tasks and elimination of low‑value activities.
• Identify and implement improvements to marketing and finance processes, information systems and procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal business unit managers, finance control, shared services, external service providers and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in a global FMCG or similarly dynamic environment.
• Proven experience working with external stakeholders and large global organisations.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to act as a business advisor.
• Demonstrated leadership and passion for supporting business decisions.
