Account Sales – Semiconductor Service Business

About the role

The AGS Account Sales role is responsible for owning the relationship with semiconductor customers and delivering Applied Materials’ service portfolio. You will act as the primary point of contact, translating customer needs into actionable service solutions while driving long‑term business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary account owner, representing Applied Materials to customers and conveying their priorities back to the company.
• Build trusted partnerships by understanding operational issues, service requirements, and technology objectives.
• Identify customer needs at tool, module and fab levels and develop tailored service‑sales strategies.
• Present the full Applied Global Services portfolio—including performance contracts, parts & labor, productivity solutions and FabVantage analytics—to articulate clear value.
• Collaborate with field teams, Service Business Units, Business Development and Marketing to shape technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare detailed pricing proposals, negotiate terms and manage the order‑booking process.
• Follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and maintain financial health of assigned accounts.
• Maintain comprehensive account coverage, update pipelines, and produce strategic account plans.

Required profile

• 5–20 years of experience in engineering and/or sales within a related field.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with engineering, procurement and executive teams.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross‑functional groups such as Field Service, Legal and Business Development.
• Strong analytical ability to develop solutions and clearly articulate business value.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills for complex, multi‑stakeholder commercial engagements.
