ADAS SW Project Manager - Autonomous and Commercial Mobility

About the role

AUMOVIO, spun off from Continental's Automotive sector in September 2025, is looking for an ADAS SW Project Manager in its Korean unit. The Software Project Manager plans, executes, tracks and controls the software subproject within a development project, leads the software core team and represents the software project to the IPT team and the customer. The role covers the software project from planning to integration and final validation, including Sensorics software, and ensures compliance with the valid development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and track all software deliveries and related activities with the software core team against customer and internal milestones, scope and quality, including third-party software components.
• Manage and drive the software team to meet project goals in scope, timing and quality.
• Ensure the project follows the valid development processes (stages, SPICE, ISO 26262).
• Lead software-related requirements engineering from initial analysis through test execution.
• Lead overall software-related IMS issue resolution, including planning, monitoring, driving closure and on-time execution.
• Monitor and report project status to the team and to SW Line Management.
• Plan and perform software releases and milestones, including release documentation and reviews needed for final release approval by the SW Release Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in embedded software development or software project management.
• Preferred: background in software architecture design or requirement engineering.
• Preferred: prior customer-facing project experience with HMG.
• Preferred: experience leading a team of at least 5 members.

Required skills

• Familiarity with vehicle network protocols: CAN, Ethernet, UDS diagnostics.
• Knowledge of Ethernet communication protocols (TCP/UDP, VLAN, SOME/IP, TSN, diagnostics over Ethernet).
• Proficiency with collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jira and Confluence, and project management tools.
