EHS Nurse – Fixed Term (Maternity & Parental Leave Backfill)

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering, is seeking an EHS Nurse to provide occupational health services at its Bundang site. This fixed‑term position covers maternity and parental leave and will run until June 2028. The role involves employee health management, health examinations, and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Provide employee health consultations, conduct onsite health checks (blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol) and maintain confidential medical records.
• Coordinate annual and special health examinations, analyze medical data, and manage follow‑up programs for work‑related injuries and chronic diseases.
• Plan and execute occupational health programs such as musculoskeletal disorder prevention and cardiovascular risk reduction.
• Respond to workplace incidents, provide triage guidance, and support workers’ compensation case management.
• Manage external health service vendors, monitor contract performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all occupational health activities comply with the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Act and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field.
• Valid Korean registered nurse license.
• 5–10 years of experience in occupational health, employee health services, or clinical nursing.
• Strong knowledge of Korean occupational health regulations and excellent bilingual communication skills (Korean and English).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple sites as needed.
