Senior Process Engineer

About the role

Air Liquide is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead and execute capital and continuous improvement projects for chemical manufacturing processes in Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Provide process engineering and technical leadership for capital projects.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and improve safety of existing installations.
• Identify and implement cost‑reduction methods aligned with business needs.
• Develop practical solutions to complex technical problems and document institutional knowledge.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.

Required profile

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering.
• 13+ years of experience designing, commissioning, and starting up chemical plants.
• Proven project planning, management, and delivery track record.
• Fluent in English and Korean with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• PLC and DCS control systems.
• Process hazard analysis leadership (LOPA and HAZOP).
• Cost/benefit and DCF analysis.
• Development and use of performance metrics.
• Strong chemical engineering fundamentals.
